Moving the Landscapes
The word landscape, in the traditional sense, implies immobility, stillness and distance. We need to take the time to drive, walk, or fly somewhere in order to experience the grandeur of a vista, the mountains, an ocean, or lake.
If we are unable to travel, we satisfy our desire to experience nature by purchasing replicas of landscapes in the form of posters or calendars, for example. We are drawn toward purses, clothes, and curtains imprinted with landscape graphics. Because the landscape cannot move, we move it.
In this work, I try to communicate these ideas through the juxtaposition of what is real and true, and the artificial.

Moving the Landscapes Digital Photo Installation
游本寬 展於「 2018台北國際攝影節」，台北，中正紀念堂
風景，認知中是靜態，跟大眾有距離、得搭乘交通工具、花時間才能接近。
於是，
接近風景便經常是人刻意區異日常景物的渴望，多元替代式的的風景影像更是因應而生。
因為渴望，所以擁有；因為不動，所以搬動。
＜移動的風景＞(Moving The Landscapes) 移轉風景的原生地，突破原有的匡限。
＜瞇瞇色＞(Hiding in Plain Sight) 則是在生活中，
以漫遊的心情，看見巷弄中的類風景；
以不彰揚對象製造者的角色，細心匡取擁有者隨心安置豐富顏色的人文景緻，
然後移動、分享…….《動·風景》數位照片裝置並置了＜移動的風景＞與＜瞇瞇色＞兩系列，企圖賦予風景新衣，
並以靜止的方式呈現＜移動的風景＞的動態意象；
以OLED超4K螢幕緩慢更替影像的形式，分享＜瞇瞇色＞的立定印象。
《動·風景》系列影像 在意涵上，移動（遷移）了風景不動的本質；在形式上，凸顯了當代數位攝影的靜、動合一；讓風景的動，牽引出內在的感動。
